Exclamation Help on Horn problem!

Hello guys,

I have a 2010 Civic DX, my horn suddenly stopped working.
I checked online, and think it's the horn relay's issue.
I did hear a click when trying to press the horn to test it.
Am I right thinking that it's the relay's issue?
If so, what is the part number that I can use as the replacement?
The dealer said there are many parts for it, and told me to bring the car to the dealer in the morning, and pick it up at night, I don't want to spend a fortune on fixing a problem that should take 10 minutes.
any help would be appreciated,
thanks!

Re: Help on Horn problem!

Your horn relay is integrated into the MICU contained inside the under-dash fuse box.

The horn itself having failed is a likely candidate from past info.

Sorry I am new to this,
What is the MICU? so it's the horn that is not working?
How do I check? Does that mean I have to bring into the dealer?

Re: Help on Horn problem!

The micu is electronics board that perform many, many, many small jobs. It is sealed inside your inside fuse box.

Your horn relay (that you hear clicking) was moved to that board starting with 06 Civics, and is now soldered in and no longer a separate replaceable relay.

You will have to remove front bumper to access horn and wiring to it. Know any qualified body men ? They could help you out with replacement.

If you think a good mechanic is expensive, try hiring a bad one

Re: Help on Horn problem!

I'd use a test light to see if the wiring and circuits are intact to the horn.
If the light lights up at the horn connector, the horn itself must be bad.
