2012 vs 2013 safety ratings?
I read the new 2013 civic has a new Ace 2 frame, more steel, and now passes the new small overlap test better than any other compact...but the NHTSA frontal crash test gave the 2012 5 stars and the 2013 4 stars. What gives?

On this site it states that the particular test is a new one, perhaps the old score did not have such a test and therefore the new test shows a weakness that was not previously noted, but is existent on both model years?
