Rep Power: 0 Handsfree buttons stopped working - 2009 Civic
I have a 2009 Civic Coupe.
Ever since I bought it, I have never had problems pairing my iPhone to it via Bluetooth.
Yesterday, for some reason, the bluetooth totally shut down. The hands free buttons on the steering wheel now do absolutely nothing when I press them. It is only the phone buttons which appear affected - all the volume, cruise, mode, navigation, etc. buttons on the steering wheel still work just fine.
It's just that when I push the "talk" button - nothing happens.
Any suggestions on how to fix this would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

If you think a good mechanic is expensive, try hiring a bad one

FIRST step in diag is to check for C.A.N. related trouble codes in the body systems, and a code reader from Autozone isn't going to do that.
If you aren't a whiz with electrical diagnosis and wiring diagrams, I'm going to suggest you go to a dealer.
