I just purchased a 2009 Civic Hybrid one day ago. I found this website looking to learn how to drive and get good mileage. I'm scared to death! The car has just 13,000 miles on it, and from what I've read...17,000 is when all problems really start! I'm not rich by any means...I traded in my 2007 regular civic 4dr LX...thinking I really want it back! Can anyone here give me information if you have a 2009 hybrid, or any help would be greatly appreciated! http://www.hybridcars.com/forums/200...#comment-79149

If you think a good mechanic is expensive, try hiring a bad one
Re: Please Help Me
PANIC PANIC PANIC!!!1!
You bought a car, and NOW you decide to do your research.
PANIC PANIC PANIC!!!!one!!
The Earth could crash into the Sun tomorrow. Shall we all panic about that too?
Do you have a specific problem with the car right now?
I didn't think so.
It has 5/60 powertrain warranty.
Look in your owners manual package (the "warranty" booklet?), see what the warranty is on the hybrid battery. It's 8 or 10 years, IIRC.
Don't drive like an idiot, the car can get decent mileage.
