Rear Deck Rattle(2006 LX Sedan)
So I recently upgraded my sound system.
Before I had 2 cheap brand subs, but now I've upgraded to kenwoods.
The old subs rattled a few things, but lacked the power.
The new ones rattle everything lol.
I fixed the license plate rattle with some weather stripping, and stopped the trunk from rattling by lowering the trunk hook.
The rear deck was rattling before, but after I moved the trunk hook down it REALLY rattles...
How can I stop this?I know that it is caused by the deck hitting where it is connected to the car, because it doesn't hit the window(It comes close though,it moves up at least an inch or two on the big bass drops)
I searched a while back and found a thread about it,and it had a video and everyone said it worked for them, but the video was gone when i clicked :/
I am looking for a way that doesn't require removal of the rear deck, but if I must then it needs to be low-budget and it can't look 'ghetto'.
Also, although not an option yet,but I do plan on getting dynamat installed, will this fix the rattle?(I still need a temporary fix until then though)

If you think a good mechanic is expensive, try hiring a bad one

Yank the plastic panel off of the speaker shelf, turn it over, apply felt covered stickypads everywhere the panel touches the shelf. And where it touches the c-pillar trims.

I fixed the rattle without removing any panels.
Under the back window, right along the opening for the trunk there are 4 openings. The two center ones have 2 more opening inside them. From these openings you can see the rear deck,if you stuff something spongy between the deck and the metal it will stop the rattle.
I'll be putting a video up about it on youtube,I'll post the link here once I do.
