Which coilover kit?

I found 2 kits off Crapslist. One is off a '09 Civic SI sedan, it's a Apexi coilover kit that was said to have 1,000 miles on it. The second is a more used Megan Racing coilover kit. The Apexi is $800. The Megan Racing is $400obo. Both are 3hrs away. Would the factory camber kit allow to align after doing a couple inch drop? Stock '06 SI coupe factory tire height possible drop of a couple inches.

Megan makes good coilovers, go with them.

Re: Which coilover kit?

Forgot to add this is my wife's car. I know that altering stances can and probably will cause loss of ride quality but I need one close to stock ride quality. I don't want her bouncing all the way to work. I just lowered my '95 Accord, before it was on air, now I'm redoing to cracked front towers lol. It sucks! I'll save and get a good kit unless the Megans ride good. My budget if saving up is $700-800. It doesn't get raced, just to work and back and family outings.

Re: Which coilover kit?

In that case, do not get Megans or Apexi, they both use high spring rates. If you can push your budget a bit Progress just recently released coilovers for 8th gens and they have an outstanding ride on the street, but they're $1k.

Ok, I can get the Megan full coilovers for $300. I'm gonna pull the trigger on these!
