Rep Power: 0 radiator upper hose
My coolant is leaking at the spot where the upper hose meets the radiator. I have to add half litre of coolant every week. The upper hose connector is the only place leaking.
Do I have to remove the bulkhead cover to gain access to the connector? Do I have to change the hose or just wipe out debris on and around the connector and re-insert the hose?
The clamp is rusted and can't be reused. Can I use an universal stainless steel hose clamp shown in the picture?
I bought my 06 Civic coupe then found this problem. Thanks to everyone for looking.

You shouldn't have to move anything to get to the clamp. If the hose is undamaged then clean and re-use it. Universal clamps will work fine, I have several on my car. You can almost buy a whole package for the price of one clamp from Honda.

Thanks.
I had no access to the clamp because it's under a steel protecting plate. To remove it, I had to first remove the plastic cover by prying the clips (C). Unfortunately I broke the plastic clips(C) when prying.
Is there any special skills to safely pry out the plastic clips?

Pry up on the middle part with a flathead. You'll end up breaking some. When I'm gonna be taking those body pins out I go buy a box or two at the auto parts store.
