Rep Power: 0 Tire pressure light staying on
Any ideas as to how to fix?
It's not the TPMS light, it's the light that looks like the cross-cut of a tire.
I've checked all the tires and they have at least 32psi. Somewhere I read to let all of the air out of tires and refill to reset the tire pressure sensors. Anyone find this true?
Would pulling a fuse reset the sensors? Thanks for any responses.
I'm going to rotate the tires this week so any info or suggestions would be helpful.

Re: Tire pressure light staying on
Did you just buy tires? If so, ask them to try to reset the TPMS sensors.
There are 2 types of TPMS systems:
1) Direct- sensors mounted on the rim. This has to be calibrated or reset with a hand tool depending on the car manufacturer. Others use an automatic re-learn system but you need to drive for a certain amout of distance on highway speed.
2) Indirect- sensors are built in to the car and just need a hand tool to relearn where each sensor id belongs to position of the tire.
Dont bother trying to trick the TPMS. Just get calibrated properly so you dont shorten the tire lifespan.
