Winter Rims and VSA

I currently have 205-55-R16 tires and would like to use 195-65-R15 winter tires. Would this affect the VSA sensors. I do not have TPMS.

no, there's no problem....if you have 2009 civic, then you have TPMS...

Re: Winter Rims and VSA

Canadian Civics don't have TPMS (nor Bluetooth for that matter) My concerns were where the VSA sensors are located and if they would be affected be the different size in tire even though the overall diameter should be equivalent...

Re: Winter Rims and VSA

you should've told that you were from canada(no bluetooth either on non-navi model)....but you will not have a problem with VSA....as long as you have clearance with brakes you won't have any problems....VSA is looing to see if there are any wheel slips and

many US 06+ Si people run with 16" RSX rims with winter tires....US SI oem sizes are 17"
