ehh the coil packs are tricky. yeah that plastic cover comes off each one but you might end up with alot of screwdriver marks. i would try just masking them off and painting while installed on the car. put alot of newspaper around and spray carefully.

Hey One Fit Civic!
Nice to meet another '09 Civic owner. Don't you just love it? I like how the front is redesigned. I get quite a few on-lookers while I'm driving around. Just this morning some chica in a mustang was checking out the Civic. I know because she turned her head as I passed by her. Either that, or I had something stuck on the front of my car, lol.

Yeah, 140 hp is a tad less than the 200 hp 220lbs/ft of torque I traded in for the Civic. I guess that's why there's the Si model with what, 197 hp?
While it doesn't have all the power compared to other cars, it does have great gas mileage, which is what I happen to care more about.

I call that color Civic "give me a ticket red" because I'm on my 5th Civic and in 88 I bought the "Rio Red" color that Honda offered that year and go more tickets in that car than I've ever received in any of the other Civics I've own. Good Luck & watch out for the Police.

One Fit Civic,
First of all, I want to Thank You for your service to our Country. I appreciate all that you men & women have done in Iraq, Afganistan & throughout the world.
I'm glad you like your new Honda's. I just purchased my first Honda car, an '09 Civic EX, auto. white. The other vehicles I drive are an '03 Dodge/Cummins 4X4 & a '91.5 Dodge/Cummins 4X4. Occasionally, I tow a travel trailer which is the reason for the diesel pick-ups. Can't do that with the Civic.
On 5/31/09, I purchased the Civic &, so far, I really like this car. It's fun to drive, easy to park &, so far, has been flawless. The mileage has been improving, also. Got a high of just over 36 mpg's (HWY.) & the last fill-up with the majority of driving, in town, I got just over 30 mpg's. The other, in town fill-ups, were in the 26 mpg. range. All of these are far better than the diesels as regards fuel mileage.
A brother & sister, of mine, have both had older Civic's & loved them. I've been looking at the Civic's since the new body style in '06. I'm glad I finally "pulled the plug" & bought one. It's everything I had expected, & more!!!

thanks bro i also have two trucks back in Idaho a 1985 chevy K20 4x4 and a 1984 chevy S-10 Blazer 4x4 the K20 runs like new unfortunately the the Army only allows one "P.O.V." to be shipped on the Army dime so it had to be my 01 civic EX (sold it in 08) better on gas my next tour of duty well be for my trucks i dont have to 2,000.00 it would take to ship them here.
