Rep Power: 0 07 SI, chip or no chip?
I'm wondering if and what about getting a chip for my 07 Si 4dr.
Has anyone ever added a performance chip or know of anyone who has?
If so, what as used, how much did it cost, installation notes, performance, etc?????
Right now the car is stock with K&N replacement filter. I'm about to pay the car off and I'm going start my add ons.
So feel free to go further and make some suggestion about possible upgrades beyond that.
Thanks,

yea. the reflash is about it for chips. its your ecu which you send in to hondata for them to reflash. only possible if you have at least an intake. so pretty much intake, headers, exhaust. maybe new pulleys. if you're really serious and have like 4 g's laying around you can turbo it. for turbos i would recommend all jap performance. pretty much if you want serious power. their basic kit comes with like 380 whp. up to 700 with a built motor. or if you want mild power look up ct engineering for their supercharger. but you're spending 4k either way you go. with their sc you're looking at anywhere from 250-270. depending on tune and whatnot. its up to you though. research. google **** up. theres so much on the internet you just have to look it up. hope that helps.

It definitely does help!
I would think it's wisest to up grade my braking and suspension before I take on anything that serious.
I guesss that begs the question that I have to ask myself.
"How far are you looking to take this?"
Not sure there really is a limit, however I should probably talk to Honda about my warranty and see if I can cash it in... otherwise its worth crap once I start a project like this!
I'll try and keep ya posted.

your warranty is good for stock parts so what ever you replace you lose the warranty on so if you get new lest say breaks than your warrinty on them are gone unless what ever you replaced them with has one through that manufacturer ie BREMBO hope that helps
