2006 Civic Manual Transmission issue

I love the 8th gen civic - and the following is the only issue. So I have been experiencing something odd for about a month now (I actually noticed it last winter...but only for a few weeks then it stopped). Basically, when the car is turned on (cold engine) the meshing of the 1st gear at start is smooth and everything is fine, I release the clutch, and everything is smooth and perfect. But then after I drive for a bit (~15 min), the engagement of the 1st gear becomes a little jerky especially just as I'm about to release the clutch completely. The whole car vibrates a little, with it becoming more intense as time goes on. This happens when i try to start smoothly, letting go of the clutch slowly, and obviously giving the car enough gas so it's not stalling or over-revving. No matter what the rpm is (1000-3000) this still happens, at about the time i'm 80-90% off the clutch. The vibration is only momentary, but it gets intense enough to be felt. All the other gears shift smooth as butter! I just had an oil change and tire rotation last week, and it's still doing it.

Increase your idle up to around 1250 or 1300 and that should fix the problem. I had the same problem. I noticed if I drove in the night from a cold start, it drove fine till the engine heated up and idle dropped. It happened almost all the time. Also change your spark plugs to NGK Iridium!
