wtf is this part...
I have an 08 civic coupe lx with auto transmission (stupid of me to buy auto). But the other day i hit a curb really hard and tore up the front black rubber piece badly, so i removed it. There is also another piece which i damaged too: it's a hard black plastic piece that appears to be just a splash guard for the engine. What is this part called? And where can i get another one?

ok thanks...tomorrow morning i'm going under the thing to see what kinda real damage there is to the underside, although i'm pretty sure all that's wrong is the black plastic piece and the (now nonexistent) air dam

You'll live without it, heck you could easily use some heavy duty cardboard wrapped in tape and bolt it onto your bumper and call it a day.

i'm going in to get my oil changed tomorrow morning...at the moment i have the piece (which i thoroughly believe is number 7 in the illustration) zip tied together. it says the part is only $55 straight from honda too, which is a pleasant surprise. either way they're gonna replace it tomorrow
