Rep Power: 0 Civic 07 Sedan & Coupe Recall?
Hello fellow members!
Well, apparently we have some bad news I suppose. I got a letter from my "friendly" Honda dealership stating that my car and others have some sort of recall. According to the letter, it has to do something about the timing belt I suppose? I agree, because I've noticed around 35-45mph there is this winding noise that makes this squeaky/ whistling noise... I'm not quite sure on how to describe it, but close your windows and turn off the music and listen for it. As you put your foot on the gas pedal you'll hear it and when you let go you don't. Do this at 40-45mph. Not sure if it goes for all you 07, but eh worth a try to see if you have it or not. Going to schedule my car for this Saturday to get it checked out. see ya guys.

Re: Civic 07 Sedan & Coupe Recall?
My sons 07 lx just had 3 recalls done to it one was for an abs gasket seal on the wheel that might let water in and cause system to fail the second one was for the sterring col that leaks lub that can cause the brake light swich to stop working and the 3 was for the water pump bolts they needed to be replace because some of them were breaking off.
anyone else have to get these done?

07 Civic EX sedan got the water pump one in the mail
on another note... I think i am also experiencing that noise op is talking about. I kinda assumed it was road noise but people have been asking me "dude what's that noise?".... for me it's between 70-120 (don't really go any faster) KM/H... it's like an empty tube. did the OP ever get it checked out? Do others have this "empty tube" like sounding road noise? do you know if it's normal?
i'm gonna go do my waterpump recall + oil change so while at it i thought i'd ask them to check it out... but wouldn't mind knowing if it's normal for others before i start world war 3

Re: Civic 07 Sedan & Coupe Recall?
I have an 07 civic ex and I haven't heard anything about a recall. With the last few rains we had the water has leaked in and soaked my carpet on the front and rear passenger side. Has anyone had this problem?
