Unhappy 07 Civc problem!! help!

Hello all,

Thank you in advance for any help!

I currently have an 07 civic LX.

The problem:

When I try to play an MP3 data CD on the stock head unit it plays fine then all of a sudden stops playing the song(usually about 2 mins in). It is not the CD because I have made several MP3 data Cd's and they all do the same thing.

Regular Cd's that I buy from the store, work fine. Even music Cd's that I burn work, it's just those damn data Cd's that don't work. Anyone else have this problem? Any help please?

FYI:

Music CD's - hold about 10- 20 songs. (these do work)

Data music CD's - hold about 50+ songs (these don't work)

Thanks again for any advice...

One thing you might try is use or make an MP3 cd on someone else's recorder, if you still have the same problem then it's the head unit.

Take it to the dealer. Warranty will cover it.

try a different brand cdr!! my alpine will only play TDK and nothing else! lol. other brand will skip, stop, and silence. using same burning software. you may try different software too. oem stuff is picky too, honda says in the manual that burnt cds are not guaranteed to play.
