I had ordered a injen short ram intake system for my 07 civic Si. i ordered it from robearracing and they are saying that i can see gains of up to 9 hp and 7 ft lbs of torque. i somewhat dont believe that. anybody dyno this intake before?

Re: intake question

on the Si i dont think youll hear or feel any difference at all. i put an AEM cai on my si and it feels and sounds just like the stock cai. only difference is the gaping hole on the left side of my engine compartment now.

Re: intake question

lol the factory tuned that car well enough so i dont think you will see much difference. they even made the stock box louder on purpose so people dont change it.

Re: intake question

I talked to the Honda service guy , he said on the new si you would not see any real gains, on the stock 1.8 some about 5hp.

Re: intake question

I have an injen sri on my 07 si.

i feel a little bit of a difference, pulls a little bit harder in vtec and it is def louder.

Probably not a 9hp gain but maybe 5hp.
