Head Liner Noise

I have an 07 Ex Sedan. I got it in may. There seems to be some rattling in the head liner when I hit bumps near the sunroof. Anyone else experience this? I'm affraid to take it in. I dont want them ripping the roof down and causing other problems. Please let me know if you have experienced this and what you did. Thanks.

Re: Head Liner Noise

I also have an '07 EX sedan. I hear a headliner noise when I close the door with the windows up. The air pressure seems to lift the back right corner and drop it again. I haven't heard any rattle or anything going over bumps though.

Re: Head Liner Noise

You can take it off yourself and gauge the problem. Basically put a small piece of foam in there where the rattle is- thats exactly what the dealership is going to do, might as well save yourself the money and learn about your car.

Re: Head Liner Noise

yeah, i've had a similar noise with my car, almost since i got it...sounds like a wire isn't tied down, and is rattling against metal, righ?

it's a pain in the @$$ trying to get at the headliner...i tried it, sticking some foam where I thought it was..taking off all the pillar panels and such...didn't solve it, probably wrong spot.

for the most part, i just turn the music up a little...as it just comes and goes sometime
