dropping an 07 Civic Si

Sup everyone,

I'm new to the forum. About a month and a half ago, my precious 99 Civic got stolen and stripped. After fighting for weeks with my insurance company, I finally got a $6200 check for my car. I'm gonna put a down payment on a 2007 Civic Si sedan this week. Now I was wondering if the suspension is good enough to just switch out the springs if I want to drop the car. Or would I have to replace struts/shocks and springs if I'm gonna drop it. If just springs would be good, what springs would any of you recommend for a 1" - 1.5" drop? I want to give the car a more aggressive stance but don't want to slam it. Thanks in advance for your help.

-Vic

Re: dropping an 07 Civic Si

if you want a 1 inch drop just ask your sales man to add the hfp suspension...it works very well ride quality and a nice stance...

Re: dropping an 07 Civic Si

the stock shocks will work fine with a decent drop.. I have actually yet to hear of a single person running any drop on stock shocks have them blow out and I've been an 8th gen junky since they came out, lol.

The best looking drop that I've seen so far is a set of nuespeed sports.. I think I posted up some pics of the fg2 that was on nuespeeds somewhere on here not too long ago, but I may be wrong.
