Anyone hear of any unpublished codes for the remote? For example, locking all doors with one click, changing delay time for relocking, disabling panic button (my wife doesn't like the panic button, she panics when it goes off ), etc. Guys in my Alty Forum somehow found out about the unpublished codes. Dealer, was aware the codes and reset the remote per my specs.

I thought the panic button was only used by people to find their cars at stadiums and mall parking lots!

Rep Power: 0 For the record, I did call the local Honda dealer and they say the transmitter can't be reprogrammed. Would have been really nice to unlock both doors with one push especially in Hilo where it rains a lot.

Re: Remote Transmitter
It is in my 2007 manual on page 83. Default is for the driver's door to automatically unlock when you stop. To have the passenger door open too(I also have an EX coupe) this is what you do.
1. Apply the parking brake.
2. Close the driver's door.
3. Turn the ignition switch to the on(II) position.(between accessory and starter engage)
4. Push and hold the rear of the master door lock switch on the driver's door. You will hear a click. Continue to hold the switch(about 5 seconds) until you hear two more clicks. There is a little time between the two clicks.
5. Release the switch and within 5 seconds, turn the ignition switch off to the lock position.
Nothing about reprogramming the remote.

Re: Remote Transmitter
Oops. I thought you had a MT like I do. The instructions for the automatic are a little different. Insert the following step in the directions in my first message.
3a. On A/T vehicles push and hold the brake pedal, then move the shift lever out of P.
Everything else the same except for step 5 which becomes:
5. Release the switch and within 5 seconds, move the shift lever to P and turn off the ignition.
