07 Civic: Brake Squeak, Pad OK

07 Civic: Brake Squeak, Pad OK Car has 11k miles - front driver break squeak (started last week) - pad thickness remaining is about 1/8" - local auto repair said this is normal and is due to metal that comes with the pad (OEM) - said squeak should go away. Has anyone seen this? Does it go away by itself? If not, what are my options? Thanks
