It's CONTEST TIME!!!
That's right and this should be a really good contest to participate in.
Our moderation team worked together and come up with a scavenger hunt.
You need to take a picture of your car next to the things listed below. On July 15th, 2007 who ever scored the most points will win....

So here's the list of items you need to take a picture of with your own car next to.
Pictures to be time/date stamped... otherwise lots of people will just go back through what they've already taken.

In front of a statue of a dead guy who did something a long time ago
At a truck stop
At a RR crossing when there's a train
2pts for the following
On a boat ramp, with both rear tires in the water
In front of a nationally known monument/building/object
With an airplane
5pts for the following
With a famous person
In front of one of the 11 7-Elevens being converted into a "Quickie Mart" for the Simpsons movie
Between 2 Ferraris
In front of a Honda Dealer
In front of a stadium
In front of a statue of a dead guy who did something a long time ago

At a RR crossing when there's a train
2pts for the following

can we submit pictures of out car in front of more than one stadium, or in front of more than one 7-11 etc etc ? Also do the pictures have to be submitted all at once or whenver we take them into this thread?

That's not a lot, you should have a longer list. I should be able to do most of that though......but I don't know if I'd risk putting it on a boat ramp, that's sketchy. I've driven on one before, if you go back too far and your rear wheels drop off the edge, you'll need a crane to get it back up....if your car doesn't slide into the unknown.

what about the parameters??? like can it be multiple pics of ur car next to the objects. Cause i can get quite a few stadium pics, seeing as how there are no 7 11's here in TN

When and how do these pictures need to be posted? Post on this thread? By what time on the 15th?

great idea i will try to post some pic's but i'm from the UK and so i may be restricted to what pic's i can take but i'll up for a laugh. ps my civic isn't all that so please be gentle on taking the micky out of it thankz.

The Calgary Tower should suffice as nationally known for a building. And I'll get in between 2 Ferarris if possible. I'll check out the exotic car dealership down south and see what they have on the lot. Maybe the owner will have his Enzo there, he usually takes it out on nice days.

I won't post any of the contest pictures yet but I went down to the exotic car dealership here in Calgary called ZR Auto and asked if they could take some of their Ferraris out for me. He said it was too much trouble but to come back Saturday, there's usually some out front. I did manage to snap a shot of their display room before I left though.

I doubt it since this is in Canada and customs being so harsh on them. But seriously, I didn't even look around in there, I felt like men in black suits were going to turn me upside down and collect whatever money fell out.
