gas trunk springs FYI
I installed my gas trunk springs this weekend thanks to Grey's DIY
http://www.7thgencivic.com/forums/sh...t=trunk+shocks
Just a follow up, I was guessing on the pressure of the springs to use, so I wanted to let everyone know what worked for me. I have a stock spoiler, so I wanted to get more powerful springs, I went with the 50 pounders, and put two in, one on each side of the trunk. They are perfect, the trunk doesn't fly up or anything when you pop it, it is just a smooth even motion all the way up. Anything less wouldn't have been enough force, but the 50 lb springs were perfect for my application. Thanks again Grey, the install went without a hitch and took about 2 hrs.

It's the solution to aftermarket speakers. Yep yep.
