Installed AEM SRI and check engine light.....
i just put in my intake and ive been driving it around and the check engine light is on. i dont want it to be on! how can i get this to turn off?
, question,is it your check engine or maintenance reqd light? i have aem sri and have had no problems yet.check the grommet on the sensor on the intake to make sure there are no leaks. That could be the
problem.
This same topic of turning off the maintenence light was covered literally 1 or 2 days ago. I must emphasize search!!! (not flaming). Anyway, to turn it off, hold in your trip reset button with the car off. Keep holding it in and turn the key to the "on" position. (You don't need to turn the engine over.) The maintenence light should start blinking. Hold it until it stops i believe.

argh. go under your hood. go into the fuse box. pull the fuse that says "BATTERY" (you should need a phillips head screw drier to remove it, its held in by screws, at leas on my car). Let it sit like that for 10 minutes. plug it back in, let the car idle for 10 more minutes. shut the car off and turn it on again (DONT TOUCH THE THROTTLE AT ANY TIME). that should fix the CEL.
