how do you remove cover for OEM tails???
i want to "smoke" parts of my tailights on the inside but i dont know how to remove the cover. i tried prying it off but a peice broke off. do you think hot water would lossen it up???? and how would i seal it back up again?????
if the hot water works then i'm guessing it'll be the same as clearing you headlights....
in which case i used a heat gun....they're good for all sorts of car projects(tint & clearing lights) you can get 'em for like $20-30.

I thought I heard someone say that the OEM tailights did'nt have inserts, but that the plastic was actually Red. If that's the case (which I hope it's not) then clearing would be umpossible, would'nt it...

First, Fraga, he is trying to smoke them.
Secondly, I am serious about putting them in the oven. IT is easy to do it that way to clear head lights, why not the tail lights?

Well, robbclark1, it would work either way as Rider has shown us. In the oven or in hot water.
Second, if you can get them seperated, why not use tint. Would'nt that last much longer then that smoke spray.
