REQUEST: Pic(s) of bypass valve on InJen CAI

Simple request for those people that have InJen CAI with bypass valve ONLY....

Would someone be kind enough to post a picture with a bypass valve on their InJen CAI as nobody has posted one yet,
or know of a member that has a pic within their profile.

Yes, I do realize you don't need one due to the "laws of gravity" of the bends within the pipe, but I'd still like to see one.

Thank you,
Xian

I know I've seen at least one in the Member's Rides. Might take a while to find, but you could try looking through those...

can you use an aem bypass valve with the injen? There is no way water can get into the engine with the injen? right? is there 0% chance is that why injen makes no bypass valve????

there's plenty of chance water will get in with the injen.

AND there's plenty of chance water will get in even with bypass valve.

I duno how many times I've posted this, but the bypass valve will only work if the filter is fully submerged. if water splashes on the filter, which is more likely than the filter being fully submerged, water can still be sucked into the throttle body, and into the engine causing hydrolock..

why do I know this? cuz it happened to someone I know. and everyone else confirmed this too.

thats why K&N's Typoon CAI has some special bag over their filter, to prevent water from splashing on the filter or water to get in. duno how they do it while not restricting that much airflow, but they did it.

dont waste the money on a bypass valve. just give K&N a call and see if they can hook u up with that bag of theirs.
