Koni Help, now !!!

** i did search **

I installed the koni yellows w/ my friends last week. everything went well, excpet right now, when i drive my car slowly, there is "Cluck" sound kept coming off the front of the car. it doesnt happen while i'm driving fast, it just happen when i drvie slowly, braking, and turning my sterring wheel. do u think its the controll arm bolt problem, that i didnt tighten them well?

Thanks...

Normal. It's setting in. I had the clunk noise for about 2 weeks with my springs.

it was pretty easy to install them but putting them back together was the hard part. Make sure u have something to support the spring tension when u tried to put the "Thing" back onto the car. for the front, go to autozone and get a "control arm bolt puller", it's like $10, that will make your life lots easier to install the front sturt.

My koni's are causin problems. i think that they werent properly tightened ( the koni strut inside the factory-strut housing) , and that is why two seperate shops could not allign my front wheels. THey both have an inch of give in either direction, so when im climbing into my steep a$$ driveway i hear both my front wheels "click" as they shift to go up the curb.

Mine clicked for a week or so, then I retightened everything and it went away, although the front still doesn't feel quite as solid as the stock setup was, then again I have the konis set fairly stiff. No worries man, nothing catastrophic will happen as long as the cotter pin is still in on the steering arm.
