Removing rear OEM Lip

Can anyone give me some advice on removing the rear OEM lip? Looks like a couple of screws on each side and there is probly some type of adhesive. Any tips would be appreciated, thanks.

ok first off you gotta take out the screws, they are not hidden so it should be easy to see them and remove them
yes i believe there is an adhesive, so pull the skirt off slowly, but make sure not to bend it too much, but remember to pull very slowly coz u dont wanna crack or break the skirt...
and if there is any adhesive left on the bumper, heat it up and pull it off and then wax the bumper, just to give the whole thing a clean look, coz it may be dirty and ugly underneith where the skirt was...
Good Luck

remove the screws and gently pull it off, you dont want to warp it or break it, so dont pull too hard, it's a 3m type doublesided tape, and the adhesive can vary in strength, it may be really stuck well, or it may be fairly loose, just pull it gently, and you shouldn't run into complications.

Ill be sure to be as careful as possible Trevor . Can anyone recomend some type of adhesive remover that would help but not harm the paint?

Thats the question...........
I'm guessing try the goo-beegone crap.......
then try a rubbing alcohol w/ a low percentage rate of alcohol......it's like 99 cents a bottle.
Thats what they have you use when you put the lips on the car to clean the surface.
I used it. It did nothing to the paint.
Just don't dump it all over your car and leave it.
peace, Trevor

Fingernail polish remover works well. But you'll look kinda funny buying it. I used my GF's.
