Paint chip inside TYC projectors... HELP!

I just got my TYCs and they look really nice except for one thing... There are two paint chips in one of the headlights. Has anyone taken off the clear plastic cover yet?

Voiceofid, I remember seeing something about yours being cracked. Did you fix it or anything? If so, have you opened up the casing?
