First of all, not all aftermarket stuff are perfect.
If you think your projector is dim, you can do the following:
1) get some of those aftermarket bulbs
2) get a HID conversion
3) adjust to point the bulb higher above the ground (this only makes it look brighter)
How the projectors focus the light depends on the lense, so there is not much you can do about it, except return the projectors and get a new pair and see if that one is better.
my two cents...

I have the same projectors and they didn't seem that much more dim from the stock ones, but I ended up replacing the bulbs anyways and that made them a bit brighter
And also make sure that the bulbs are in there right, before I installed mine I had taken the bulbs out and when I put them back one of them wasn't all the way in correctly which made the beam off
Oh and also, if you're going to replace the low beams it would probably be a good idea to replace all the bulbs at once b/c it starts to be a pain in the *** to take off the bumper over and over to get to the two side bulbs, and plus it just looks stupid with one blue beam and two yellow

Hm...I don't need to take off my bumper to change my low beam bulbs. My projector is the one with a purplish low beam lense, I think its from APC. All you need to do is take off the cover, unhook the spring/wire, then just change the bulbs. If I need to change my high beam bulbs, then I probably need to take off my bumper.
(I didn't get the one that's selling on this site is because I want to get rid of the orange stuff from my stock headlamp. I think it looks funny with orange stuff on the side of the projector with superwhite signaling lights, and I am not a big friend of orange bulbs. *this shouldn't be here, I just want to share my opinion)
just my cents...

Wonderz, no you don't have to take of the bumper for the low beams, nor the high beams (I didn't get the APC lights either). Although I did have to move the battery on the left side and I had to move the power steering container over on the right side but that isn't a big deal. But yeah you have to take off the bumper and take the lights out all over again to get to the two little side lights.
Nitrious, the projector beam is an H3 bulb, the hight beam is H1. And I did have a problem getting the two side lights in. With the bottom one I got it to stay in by taking a piece of metal (like a toothpick size and thickness... it was just laying around the house) and used it to push the rubber seal from the lightbulb into the hole... that actually made it quite stable. But for the top lights I just sort of twisted it in and pulled until it didn't come out... unfortunetly one of the bulbs came back out and it is just sort of hanging there lighting up my wheelwell, haha ghetto...
I just haven't had the time to get around to taking the bumper off again.. but when I do, this time I'll electrical tape them in or something (I think someone else on this site had to do that with these projectors also), unless I come up with a better way to get them to stay in there.

Haha, that's the first problem I had to solve when I was install the superwhite signaling bulbs into my projectors. I thought it was only my projects what was missing the right connectors.
well, here is what I did.
1) take out the bulb plastic connectors from the stock headlamp
2) cut out the plastic pieces that the connector goes into (I cut out the whole round plastic piece, again from stock headlamp)
3) glue the round plastic pieces into the projectors (same location as it was on the stock headlamp of coz)
4) put the superwhite bulbs into the stock bulb plastic connectors
5) put the whole piece into the projectors
6) congrat yourself for a job well done

use PIAA "super mega white" for signaling light?
I would love to, but I don't want to take off my bumper every once a while to change the bulbs.
plus I think my signaling light is bright enough already, thanks for the suggestion tho.

Not to confuse anyone, I am using superwhite bulbs too, but not super MEGA white bulbs.
If you have the time and want to do things right, try the procedures I listed, I think it works great, and easy to change bulbs without the use of tape.
just my two cents....

Hehe... I want to keep my stock headlights intact, I put them in the boxes that the projectors came in and put them away in the garage. But that is a good idea if you don't care about the stock ones

I figured what are the chances of me putting back the stock headlamp...nearly zero
might as well make the best of it for the greater good

MEK... how did ur projectors fit.. i hate problems w/ the fittings so i had to custom drill sum holes for da assembly.. which reall pissed me off... also.. for da H3 or da projector beams... isnt h3 for fog light bulbs?
My projectors were a perfect fit. When I started putting the first one in I got pissed off because I was afraid that I was going to have to do something (like you, drilling new holes) to them to get them to fit right, but then I looked at how they were sitting in there and I didn't have one of the metal supports set in there correctly (I can't really explain because I don't remember too well what exactly was wrong, but when I compared the stock one to the projector one I could see what was wrong) As soon as I took it out again and made sure I had it right the headlight went in perfectly, but before that I was having to shove it in there and hold it down while I tried to get the screws in.
As far as H3 being for fog lights I really don't know, but the lights that are in the projectors, low beams, are H3 (assuming we have the same ones that is)

Projectors
These are the ones I have.. just so none of us get all confused if we each have different brands and we're talking like they're all the same
