That's the way it is, on every car. Whenever you install your intake, the car knows you've touched the engine, that's why the lights on. Just leave it alone...its fine.

This happened to me a couple weeks ago and I posted it. My problem was was that I unplugged the one sensor from the factory air box and left it out.....it should plug into a little rubber piece that comes from your intake......if you look into the factory airbox where the sensor that you took out was then take out the entire piece that it plugged into and it should be like a long plastic stick....jus push that part into the rubber piece into your intake and after you drive it for 30 min- 1hr the light shold go away. Hope this helps.

if you just threw a check engine light during the install just pull the fuse from the ecu for a couple of secs. and it will reset the light just make sure your mass air flow sensor is in

do it the easy way reset the ecu by disconnecting the neg battery wire. wait a few and put it back on. Also do what the person before me said check the sensor going into the rubber on the intake. Make sure you pushed it in all the way. Late

hey look on your stock intake box that you took out theres a sensor that
you need to take out of it, its you air temperture sensor. it tells you
to unplug the the ATS and plug it into your new intake...
once you do this I garuntee you the check light will turn off
trust me I install intakes for $30 bucks...

same thing happened to me and i took it to the dealership. it turns out that my one of the hose's was too close to my intake and when the car was running, the intake was running against the hose and it cut a hole in the hose. the solution: i had to go buy a new hose and i had to bend the pipe that was rubbing up so that it wouldnt touch any longer.

i learned this from a honda mechanic.

1 make sure the car is off.
2 hold the odometer reset **** in(the black long button from your speedo guage).
3 turn the car on.
4 let go of the button.

if this doesn't reset the CEL, try it a couple of times. i had do it twice before it worked. hope that helps. and if the CEL comes back on after u reset it, there is something wrong with your install.
