on the side of the wiper arm that faces the window, right at the point that the wiper assembly attaches to the wiper arm, there is a little plastic lever that you have to push outwards to release the wiper assembly. you push the tab (it will only go in one direction but i cant remember which way it is) and slide the wiper assembly downwards. to re-attach a new wiper assembly it just slides in the opposite direction as when you removed the stock assembly, and it locks into place.

hope this helps.

read the owners manual neo, its in there......

edit: you will need to squeeze the old blade to get it past some notches in the assembly, then the blade and reinforcing strips will slide out. you place the reinforcing strips into the new blade and slide it back. the manual is much better than this....

oh and "I KNOW"

does that make you feel better

Get some Bosch Micro Edge Ecels. They were like $12 each, that's with the entire wiper assy, and are 10X better than the crappy ones Honda sells.

Neo... it's not the RainX, it's the rubber compound in the cheap Honda blades. My blades weren't worth a crap from the first day I got the car. They just don't swipe the window worth a crap. I replaced them with the Bosch's and man what a difference. I use RainX at least once a month. If you let it dry good to a haze and spit polish it off, it works awesome. When properly applied it's the best freaking stuff in the world. I guess I'm partial since I've been working on airplanes for 14 yrs and that's what they use, since jets ain't got no wipers.

rain-x results in buildup on the windshield. Waxing you windshield when you wax your car does the same trick, and doesn't result in the build-up. Not that it has anything to do with this thread, but just thought I'd mention it.

LOL, this guy amuses me so...

Ah, changing wiper blades... I remember on my mom's Caddy, we don't change the blade, we change the whole goddamn wiper! (Which is SO MUCH EASIER, why can't changing them be like this).

Then I had the opportunity to change the BLADES on a Toyota Corrola for my next door neighbor. It took me so long to do it and I didn't know how to do it at all but I figured it out... it's kind of annoying compared to just swapping wipers but that was the only time I had to do the blades.

I never knew it was in the manual either. Oh well, only the REAL "rocket scientist" will refuse to stop learning.

And only stupid people think the smartest people know everything! ... f00...

This is probrobly due to the horrible stock blades. Change them to Bosch, 100% difference

Man you changing the blades can be pretty bad. On more expensive cars however changing the wipers isn't feasible because they're more expensive and heavy metal type ones. The blades alone on my mom's car cost $30.

I think the blades are two different lengths, so be sure to get the correct lengths on the correct sides. The install confusion comes in when you get aftermarket blades or arms that have three differen't "universal" fitments and none of them are exactly right.

They are 2 different lengths. I tried to swap the drivers one with the passenger one, and it fit, but just didnt look like, than I noticed they are 2 different sizes. I dont know the specfic sizes though.
