Rep Power: 0 HELP: Stud frozen inside alternator
98 honda civic ex
I've taken all the bolts out but the one stud holding the alternator to its bracket. Unfortunately it's frozen in and I can't figure out how to remove it.
I've also tried taking the bracket itself out but one bolt is in a divot and cannot be removed unless the alternator is off! Anyone have any ideas to get that stud out of the alternator? I've tried PB Blaster and getting leverage on it with a hammer it will not budge! Alternator will not move at all not even a tiny wiggle.
Thanks for your help

Go out there and hit it with the penetrating oil again and let it set overnight.
Tomorrow:
Get a friend to help. Find a cheater bar (anything you can use to lengthen the handle. I used a fence post on a wheel lug one time.) and while you put pressure on the handle have your friend hit the bolt with a hammer.
If all else fails, cut it off.
