Rep Power: 0 wtf are you talkin about? if you read the thread we started about the r.i.p. 7thgen you would see how my board came about. and read my sig, "TEMPORARY". i didnt like the layout of emhonda. if you like it, thats fine. why do people always try to start **** online? does it make you feel like a badass or something? grow up.
Look, man, he's not trying to "start **** online." The fact of the matter is that your rebellion, exodus, whatever you wanna call it came into effect a good month or two after the majority of people that cared about this site already found a new home. The people you want to join your site are already gone. It's like you're offering someone a motel room after they just inherited their rich uncle's 12-bedroom mansion.

Rep Power: 0 i believe tinting them would be worse if you think it sucks in sunlight already. how bad is it in sunlight? have a pic? i haven't had time to fix mine yet.. i snapped a screw.
mine are Anzo USA and not the ones from eBay, but they look exactly the same. dunno if that would make a difference

Rep Power: 0 both shots taken in direct sunlight.
CLOSE-UP
5 FEET AWAY
dont you think tinting them just a little bit would reduce the glare from the sunlight beaming off the chrome?

Rep Power: 0 It would probably reduce the glare and also give a better contrast. Its hard to see the red light-up when its surround by all the chrome, at least during the day when you can't see it reflect off the surrounding chromed plastic.

Rep Power: 265 should've got the other version of those lights, where it's red on top, instead of clear. i'm sure they're bright enough, tho, else they wouldn't be dot approved, which i think those are. however, if you tint them, they probably won't be bright enough then.

Rep Power: 0 i tinted them and they reduce the glare from the chrome and sunlight alot. I didnt really do a good job with the tints as they had a lots of spots. ill redo this weekend, but i think they look good and they didnt really get that much dimmer with the tint.

TINT
TINT WITH BRAKE APPLIED AND TURN SIGNAL
REAR VIEW
Thanks for all the opinions. They really made a difference.
**I know my left side is darker than my right side. When it gets warmer out ill redo the whole thing and get rid of all the spots.

Rep Power: 0 just out of curiosity anyone know where i can get some cool head lights or tail lights for an 86 civic? it's an older car but i'd like to get some better lights that are a bit brighter than the ones i've got... any suggestions... even if it's a place that does custom lights...
