they are about as good as the bottom of the line tires i had on my 88 dodge omni that had 25000 miles on them that caused me to go off the road in the snow on a very slight curve
these firestones not only suck, but they are actually dangerous to drive on

Yea, I think the word dangerous describes them very well also. The traction is terrible when the pavement is dry and when it's wet, you might as well stay home. I remember driving in the rain for the first time after I got my car. I was passing a slow poke and immediatly my car felt like it hydroplaning and I could hardly control the thing on brand new frickken tires! Needless to say, I take it real easy when it is wet now as I like breathing.
i've never had any trouble with my tires, wet or dry, driving normal, or like a maniac.....if you expect performance from these tires at ultra-fast highway speeds, it's the driver thats got the problem, they were not designed for that kind of use.....however, i throw my 2k1 hard a$$ into turn's all the time and the tire's stick, also, i've done a lot of driving near cut-off 195mph and the car feels pretty solid, but if anything was to happen at those speeds, i couldn't exactly blame it on a tire that was designed to handle those speed's, but not really "perform" at them.....i think a drop makes a huge difference in the control charachteristics of a 2k1, i got my car dropped 2.0 straight outta the dealership, but i know from the one i took on a test drive, (and kicked the crap outta) it was damn near scary taking turns at faster speed's....just my experience though.....
hey 1973, I think you must have said 195 km/h not mph, I wish my civic could go 195 mph
195 km/h is about 120 mph which is more true for a Civic
