My friend asked me for some advice and I really don't know what to tell him. As soon as he got his '01 lx 4dr he put on an arospeed c.f. wing that had to be bolted to the trunk. Now he saw the kaminari spoiler and he wants to switch to that one instead but is unsure of what to do with the 4 holes in his trunk. Is there a way to seal those 4 holes and make the trunk appear like it has never been messed with? Do I just tell him that he's f***ed??

note: i told him to begin with not to get the wing cuz even though it looks alright, I would definitely not like the idea of drilling holes into the trunk of my car and well, i dunno but it seems like he's screwed....

Maybe he could put some bondo in the holes and have it painted. I don't know if it would looks as good as new or not. You have drill holes when installing any spoiler.

You must either weld the holes shut and grind flat then bondo! Or glue some sort of backing or tape up holes from the backside and then bondo!! Bondo needs some soild oblect behind it to provide support and as not to let it run down the hole!! I personally would weld!! then bondo!! but thats just me!!Dakota

try finding some one else that likes it and swap trunk lids.....
