will double-sided tape remove my paint?

ok, i have the front wing from wings west body kit for our car. it is held on the car with screws and double sided tape. i am makin a trade and the guy wants this piece. if i take it off, with the double sided tape take the original paint of my stock bumper. thanks

No, it will not. Double sided tape is what is also used to affix our "civic" and "ex, dx, hx, etc." badges.

so i can just pull it off. some one told me to use a heat gun on low and that would help. is all that nessecary

didn't even use heat gun. used dental floss, and excess sticky stuff was taken off by applying some WD-40 to the area.

whoops, the dental floss was in reference to shaving emblems

the wd-40 can take out the sticky stuff that remains
