How Do You Remove The Headliner?

I have an EX Coupe. Anyone know how to remove the headliner? I need to apply some damping & insulation to the roof and replace the headliner with something better but I can't seem to get the factory one off.

SQ - You can go ahead and rip the thing off, if you're going to replace it. Otherwise you'll have to remove all the interior pillars, the roof handles, light fixtures first, then you can pull the headliner down. You can see pics of the parts themselves on hondaautomotive.com Just choose you model civic, and choose the correct area for a parts list, and you'll see a diagram of everything.

I've got to sound deaden my roof as well, but I was planning on re using the headliner. I won't have time to do mine until I hit vacation in a few weeks. Let me know how much trouble you have doing yours.

Got it out Boss! LOL It will definitely not be used again, but it doesn't matter since I am going to use a tweed material to replace it. In an EX w the moonroof, there is not much area up there that is not utilized by the moonroof mechanism.
