SRS light with aftermarket seats ????
I put celica seats in my car and the SRS light came on. I have searched and searched and still did not figure it out.
IS LEAVING THE UNDERSEAT HARNESS UNPLUGGED A SAFETY ISSUE???

air bags
If you car had side air bags, they are in the original seats. Plus there are tensioners on the stock seat belts. If the yellow plugs under the seats are not hooked up, you will get a SRS light.
There are ways to bypass it, but it does require a bit of work and may void a warranty or two.
