Did you make sure the exhaust you got would fit a DX?

Do you reuse any of the old piping?

Well a catback is new piping after the catalytic converter (hence the name). The system should be a direct replacement.

yea.. ur supposed to use the stock cat converter.. wait a minute... DX has cat on headers.. sounds like they sent u a ex setup cause that piece ur missing is supposed to be the cat converter on the ex models... but u could always go down to a muffler shop and just have then extend the pipe for u for i think like $40 or so

It should come with it's own resonator tho. You're right. I think they sent him the wrong setup.

If he thinks he is missing something, then he has an EX application sent to him. He 'could' be missing the extension pipe like the Magnaflow has.

Dude, I don't know where or how you got that cuz Greddy has told me many times that they don't have an application for the Ex models yet. They said it will be out by the end of the year. So I guess I'm going to have to call Greddy on that after this hurricane passes. On your issue I think you should call who ever or where ever you got it from and let them know your situation. Good luck on it and I hope you get it resolved fast.

The shop that i ordered it through said it was an ex model when i took it back. All i know is that when i went to install the exhaust it came in 2 pieces, and together they came up short 4 feet short of the downpipe. The exhaust system is an SP2 not an Evo. There are applications of the Sp2 for the ex.
