Help with exhaust
Ok so i just got my greddy Sp2 system today, and i just took of all the stock pipeing and i noticed i was missing something. What else do i need besides the catback exhaust to make everything hook up??? My cars a 2k1 DX. Please dont laugh at me i just need help.
nope its a dx sp2 exhaust system it came with the muffler and some other pipe(which is not long enough to connect the muffler to the headers). I dont know what im missing to make everything fit. Im so pissed.
yea.. ur supposed to use the stock cat converter.. wait a minute... DX has cat on headers.. sounds like they sent u a ex setup cause that piece ur missing is supposed to be the cat converter on the ex models... but u could always go down to a muffler shop and just have then extend the pipe for u for i think like $40 or so

Dude, I don't know where or how you got that cuz Greddy has told me many times that they don't have an application for the Ex models yet. They said it will be out by the end of the year. So I guess I'm going to have to call Greddy on that after this hurricane passes. On your issue I think you should call who ever or where ever you got it from and let them know your situation. Good luck on it and I hope you get it resolved fast.
The shop that i ordered it through said it was an ex model when i took it back. All i know is that when i went to install the exhaust it came in 2 pieces, and together they came up short 4 feet short of the downpipe. The exhaust system is an SP2 not an Evo. There are applications of the Sp2 for the ex.
