Pulling
I have a 2003 Civic SIG, it had the OEM firestone tires on it, I had a problem with them shaking so I changed them for Michelin Harmony tires which are incredibly smooth but my car always pulls to the right even on a slow acceleration. When I am cursing up to speed my steering wheel is straight and the car drives in a straight line. I have sent it back to Honda where they have performed now /....are you ready 6 wheel alignments and it has not been fixed. When the car is cold it does not pull too much but once it’s warmed up or the tires are worm it will dart towards the curb. If I excel hard the wheel turns fast to the right. When I got the car it never did that. Took it back to Honda, where they checked the suspension. Do you think it’s the tires since they grip really well??? I need help on this, car only has 9,000KM only 6 months old

hmm....which dealership did you buy your ride at? Kingston Rd? I got it from there and same thing happened, at first i thought it was torque steer cause our ridez are FWD. but than again i found that my wheels weren't balanced from the factory. than i just got a 4 weel align. + balancing from warranty + my is a 01 SI, so there were a call back for front struts....and i got those fixed too.
I had a problem like this for a long time and it drove me crazy. It turned out to be defective bearings on the tops of the struts. They're very cheap to replace if you have someone to fit them.
Point this out to your technicaian.

Really, so struts can cause the car to pull?, the funny thing is I took my car to formula Honda on more then one occasion where they had my car for more then 2 days inspecting the front end. I got my car from Parkway Honda. I also had one rim replaced as there was a round out. I have given up.. The people at Honda keep telling me it’s the nature of the car. And I tell them so you’re telling me that Honda now has a new feature.....buy a civic because it will pull to the right without you having to steer??? Give me a break. Do you think it’s the tires? What kind of tires do you have on your civic?

I would have to lean more towards its the nature of the beast. You say it only pulls under HARD acceleration? Well like someone pointed out something would have to be worn out Or its just good old torque steer.

1. Check your tire pressure, make sure they're even.
2. Under hard acceleration the car will pull, its an open diff., thats just what happens.
3. Yes, if your struts are blown or the bearings are bad, it will pull to the opposite side from the bad one (if its going right, your left front may be bad).
