The amber piece holds the reflector in place. It was loose and can easily be removed. I used some goo to hold it in from the back.

I pried the housing apart then pulled the chrome piece out

on an 01 the reflector clips into the chrome insert, and it can be taken out or left in .. whatever you want .. but legally it needs to be there

Alright, I'm gonna start now. I think I'll just do it without the oven, and mash the two pieces together like cryption did.

One more question: approximately how long will this take me? I'm guessing 30 minutes max.

Do i have to take all the clips off when working under the car to remove the bumper? I bottomed out [yes, plazas suck] a while back and one of the clips is completely shredded. I've been working on it for a while, but to no avail.

you don't have to undo it all. hell all i did was undo the top 4 clips and the 2 screws in the fender wells and i let it sit on my yard with the bottom still attatched.

Alright, here's the update: Mission aborted due to lack of natural lighting.

Now.... how the heck do i get the clips underneath the bumper back on? i only took off two, and they refuse to go back in.

Alright, I did it. I actually finished earlier today, but I had to leave.

Thanks to everyone for all the help granted, and the advice offered.

I made two booboos, though: I dropped a tab into my engine compartment, and it failed to reach the ground. I also got a tiny tab of black goo on the side of my right headlight, but it's not noticeable.

Thanks again.
