Here's my question: I replaced my turn signal ulbs the other day with LED bulbs, and now my blinker is much faster, like I have a hyper blinker installed. WHen I turn the hazard lights on they work fine, but my regular turn signal goes like 3 times faster. Any thougts why it does this?

I know a lot of people like hyper blinkers - I've even seen them on minivans - but Im really don't like it. Any idea how I can use these bulbs and decrease the bllink speed?

All I can tell you is that something with the wattage or something that the LEDs put out are different from normal bulbs. I found somethings on this but didn't read.

Hey i think the solution to your problem is go to the DIY hyperblinker and put in the resistance controller thinggy... so u can control the blinkers.. or juz soder an appopritate value resistor....

LED blubs use less amps/power then reg bulbs.. also less resistance then a regular blub.. b/c reg bulb.. u are igniting a wire.. LED bulbs you are igniting a gas.. u know.. kinda like florecent and hellogen lights...

so give it a try buddy.. hope it helps..

put your regular bulbs back in and they will run fine. But if you like LED bulbs better, than you will have to live with the fast blinking
