Hi everyone,

I was thinking of putting on a Kamikaze Header on my LX, but I know that it does not allow the Cat Conv to be put back on. What are your opinions?

Good Idea? / Bad Idea?

Anyone got one on their car? Opinions on performance? Sound?

great idea i have had one on my car for like a year. i love it makes the car sound mean as hell. about the cat conv. just buy a universal cat. cause i still havent bought a cat for mine an it is loud as hell. but the kamikaze header is great mod for the lx.

Performance, oh yes. But there is sort of a drawback when you throw those on an lx. becuz 1) Makes your exhaust loud as hell. 2) Your CEL comes on. 3) Theres more air flow so your stock exhaust/resonator starts to rattle. I cut out my resonator and threw a glass pack and it sounded nice and deep with my hks axle back. I got my headers for 70 bucks shipped off ebay. Brand new is 200ish? Performance... hrm... Put it this way. First mod i did to my lx was headers. Raced my friends 98 stock ex (standard) on the freeway, at lights and what not. Everytime i'd pull hard on him first gear, 2nd he'd catch up and 3rd i pulled a car before hittin 90. When i was stock, he always stayed in the front. Depending on the price, its worth it.

i had that header like 3+years ago. it is great for its power, consider of $$$$. But becarful running cattless / highflow in Cal. The cops there are trained to look for aftermarket parts. If they find no cat in place....................
