No problem dude.. I started out right where you are. I wanted "cool" headlight bulbs.. then found this forum and searched my happy *** off.. Even delved into making a fiberglass sub enclosure, DIY guide courtesy of these forums. Now I know my way around my car like no other.. haha
Have fun, happy modding, and my advice that I give everyone, do it right the first time, even if that means spending more up front. It'll save you money and headaches in the long run

Re: Where can I buy yellow headlight bulbs?
No doubt Rice, I definitely dont have extra money to shell out from buying faulty aftermarket mods if something breaks, im a college student and almost done with my freshman year! When I buy my mods I want it done right the first time and I want to learn how to work on my car so I can get a sense of pride by working on it.
So right now my plan is to save up for the lowering springs you mentioned and the Blue shocks you mentioned as well.
What site should I buy them from? Any other mods you can think of for a noob to start doing, or better yet what should I do to start getting into the "car" mindset to learn about my car? I wanted to do my first oil change so right now Ill buy some jack stands first. I do also have the Haynes repair manual for my car as well.
Ill search the forums but maybe you could help me out too since you said you started out like me. Advice for oil change? Safety when using jack stands and crawling under them since I seem leerly to crawl under a 2000lb car hah
Im not sure what else to start doing to my car, it seems like it cant take high rev shifts im guessing because its just a sedan 1.7L non-vtech, theres just a Sachs road clutch in it, nothing special i had installed in October 2009.
