Is there anything obvious that a lot of 94 ex's owners get as far as problems? what questions should i ask him about the car. ITs a custom made TMIC. Its my first turbo'd car. What are some symptoms of a un-tune civic or if is pushing to much psi?

I just need some questions to ask him so i know the car is good.

I wouldn't buy something that is already boosted, or something that is too heavily modded at all, but that's just me. If it is not tuned I think you would be able to tell pretty easily, ask who tuned it. However as far as questions about what to ask are concerned I would ask how well the car was maintained, timing belt, oil, other fluids, tune ups, filters etc. Also make sure there is no severe rust or anything. Ask the normal, what problems has he had with it what has been changed, and just use a visual look. Hopefully he wont lie. Take a friend or a mechanic who you trust around cars. Other then that there isn't much else you can do. How much is he asking, how many miles?

seems to be clean. d series boosted with no internals i hope he's not running too much boost it won't last too long. ask if its an ebay turbo or a brand name. ebay turbos will blow the day you get them or they could last up to 8 months.

I wouldn't buy that one. That's an Ebay turbo kit through and through. SS Autochrome turbo mani that dude welded shut the wastegate port on since he's running an internally gated turbo. I see crappy welds on the IC pipe running from TMIC to TB and I don't know what's hiding underneath that red loom running from the turbo to the driver's shock tower.

Keep looking around.
