Anyone got a RMT (Rear Mount Turbo) ?

Hi everyone,

I am considering doing this and I wanted to see if anyone had a RMT installed on their car and what they thought of it? Pros/Cons, costs, etc…

I know that an EMT (Engine Mount Turbo) is better in many ways, but an RMT is CARB legal, when an EMT is not. (from what I have read online, I may be mistaken)

ive considered this a few times, but where r u gonna run the charge pipes, and the oil lines. if u figure it out, let me know, id be down to try this

Remote turbos are more common on a V8 car. You need a lot more power to spool up that turbo than you would if it were on the exhaust mani.

the systems are STS turbo kits. it's overly complicated for our application, but great for sleeper v8's like camaros and the like. a bit of lag even with the small turbos they use, as well.
