Rep Power: 0 2007 honda civic hybrid brakes
Instrument panel warning light says brake system. And brake pedal goes all the way to the floor. Any ideas on what went wrong and how to fix it.

How's the fluid level? Could air be in the lines? It could be a number of issues.

If you think a good mechanic is expensive, try hiring a bad one
Re: 2007 honda civic hybrid brakes
How many lights are on? Red "BRAKE" light? ABS light? Booster warning? Others?
Hybrid Civic has a more complicated brake control system than a regular Civic, but the hydraulic system is still pretty conventional and basic.
Check for fluid loss first. If master cylinder reservoir is empty, refill with DOT-3 brake fluid and see if pumping restores any pedal feeling or if you can find the leak source.
