Clutch out... can't drive my car

Alright yesterday i parked my car,(everything was working fine) worked for 5 hours and came out to leave. Got in the car and started it up and i couldn't put it into gear. The clutch was really easy to push down. My dad managed to get it home. This morning he couldn't even drive it. It would go into gear only when you started and wouldn't work again.

I was told this was the master cylinder/hydralics for the clutch.

Its a 97 acura cl with a 2.2 vtec. I figured this was the best place to post this because its still a honda engine and i don't know of any acura forums.

Thanks

Kinda sounds like the clutch master cylinder or slave cylinder has went bad. Check them first but if not your clutch could be gone.

^ What he said. I had the exact same thing happen in my S10. I ended up having to replace the clutch, master, and slave cylinders
