Changed oil but maintenance light still on?

I know i need to change the air filter also (its in the mail), but is there any reason this light might still be on?

Maintenance lights are usually manually reset.. It should be in your manual how to reset it.

How do you reset them now? I'm sure they don't want us to know!
I remember when you stuck your key in the dash cluster. They even told you when to rotate your tires. Although I never rotate my tires, or balance them unless they shake. I think it's cheaper to just replace the tires. That's my opinion anyways. But then again I seem to get tires pretty inexpensive. And I hate to chance that the rims will be damaged.

Re: Changed oil but maintenance light still on?

Mine is something like this:
-with the car off, hold the odometer reset button
-still holding the button down, turn the car on (or was it at least to the "on" position.."
-release after.... some amount of seconds.. lol.. i just keep holding it until the maint. light stops blinking.
-turn the car off then test it to see if it worked.. if it didn't, try again.
