Plastic safe paint stripper?

Like the title implies, does anyone know of any good plastic safe paint strippers? I need to strip paint off of a few plastic items (fuse box, spark plug wire cover.... front grill..)

Re: Plastic safe paint stripper?

pure alcohol like isopropyl is the safest (but slowest) solvent, and even that will possibly cloud the plastic. not a big deal if youre planning to paint again or do something else with it. if not, a trim detailer compound will prolly bring the shine back. acetone is quick but will literally melt plastic. so use it with caution only to remove the first layer of paint without going down to the plastic part. use alcohol for that.

i say acetone with a lot of elbow grease. just put a little bit on a paper towel and start scrubbing. do it in a well ventilated area btw.
